Is it cheesy that since this song came out it's kind of been my anthem?
New York City. I can't believe what I have seen and done in the past nine months. One of my very first modeling jobs was for Arrojo. More than a salon and school, Arrojo is a hair movement owned by dream team Nick and Lina Arrojo.
I still remember showing up to casting. All the other girls had portfolio's on their iPads, and Nick went down the line asking each of us what they could do to our hair. Unbeknowst to Nick, who I had only seen on "What Not to Wear" previous to this encounter, I had been growing out my hair from an atrocious cut that made me look like Joan Jett...not in flattering way and I stated, "Anything."
Now, as you can see, my image from the shoot is in the window of their flagship salon on Carmine and Varrick Street. This same beautiful bob can also been seen in numerous hair publications dubbing my look "primster".
Sometimes you are in the right place at the right time, and I really feel this is one of those times.
